Ruslan Zhumadilov, the head of the iQala City Services Center, spoke about the activities, achievements of the center for the first year of work and plans for the near future on the “Qazaq radiosy” in the “Topic of the Day” program.
The creation of the iQala City Services Center was initiated by the mayor's office of Nur-Sultan within the framework of the “Astana-adaldyk alany” project. Thus, the capital became the first city in the country to combine the services of monopolists on the “one window” principle.
“The center provides the most demanded services for the conclusion of contracts for electricity, water, heat and garbage disposal, as well as changes in the data in the receipts of the ERC. All housing and communal services can be obtained both at the iQala front office and online on the www.iqala.kz portal,” the speaker explained.
Previously, there were no regulations for the provision of services, and the applicant had to constantly call the monopolists and periodically find out if the documents were ready. Now, within three days, the applicant receives an SMS notification about the readiness of their documents. The applicant receives the signed contract in the personal account on the iqala.kz portal.
“The center has a self-service area where you can get online EDS and other services. We have expanded the self-service zone to 6 computers with a webcam and Internet connection, where our specialists are ready to consult you, but you will need to receive the services yourself. This way we are trying to raise the level of computer literacy and teach people to use other online services,” said Ruslan Zhumadilov.
By the end of this year, it is planned to digitize 20 more services, a total of 151 services will be available. In 2021, it is planned to add more than 60 new services to the iQala portal.
