On October 14 acceptance of applications for participation in the "1000 places. Street trade" program started, which will last until October 30, according to the official website of the city administration.
According to the deputy mayor of the capital Malika Bekturova, 100 land plots are being implemented under the program, 80 of them are on the www.gosreestr.kz website and 20 of them are on the Astana Innovations website. On those land plots it will be possible to organize snack bars on wheels, coffee shops, bakeries, flower stalls, souvenir shops, sales of ice cream, fruit and vegetables, newspapers, etc.
"Since 2017, based on the results of the competitions held by JSC "SEC "Astana", sublease agreements have been concluded with entrepreneurs on 557 land plots. The program created more than 1,500 jobs. The amount of private investment amounted to about 1.1 billion tenge," Malika Bekturova said.
