"Learning together!": more than 20 children with special needs from low-income families took free educational courses in Nur-Sultan

23 children with special needs from low-income and single-parent families took free remedial development courses at an inclusive kindergarten in the capital. 10 of those children already attend regular preschool institutions.

In the spring of this year, the public Foundation "Co-Make" opened an inclusive kindergarten "Rostok" in Nur-Sultan. "Learning together!" is organized for correctional and developmental training and social adaptation of children with special educational needs of preschool age (children with autism, hearing impairment, speech and motor disorders) on the basis of the project.

The appearance of a kindergarten and correctional and developmental courses for special children became possible thanks to the social support of the mayor's office of the city. As part of the program for the efficient use of communal property, which is operated by JSC "SEC "Astana", an inclusive kindergarten was provided with a room of about 500 square meters in the Yesil district. Now about 40 children are receiving pre-school education within these walls. There is a social orientation room, a physical therapy room, offices for individual work of speech therapists, speech pathologists, and a biofeedback room.

In 2020, it is planned to launch courses on development, rehabilitation and education for mothers of children with special needs. Inclusive kindergarten of the public Foundation "Co-Make" is located at Tumar khanim street 39, Nur-Sultan city. Head of the organization: Irina Kalyuzhnaya.
