As a result of a working visit by Nur-Sultan Akimat and Astana's SEC "Astana" to the Turkestan region, 40 tonnes of cabbage were brought to the capital. Cabbage from the fields of the southern region has already arrived on the counters of the Shapagat market. This is the first shipment of cabbage delivered from Turkestan province. Note that the imported cabbage can be bought both wholesale and retail.
Today, the capital is actively working to stabilise prices of socially important foodstuffs. To date, price stabilisation has been contracted for 30,000 tonnes of SIFP.
Of these, 15,000 tonnes have been contracted for vegetables: potatoes, carrots, onions and cabbage. The concessional loans are scheduled to stabilise vegetable prices until July. Negotiations are now underway with entrepreneurs to increase the volume of products and the sales period.
