Daily monitoring of prices in supermarkets and shops is carried out in the capital in order to control the stabilisation of prices of socially important food products (SIFP).
Staff of the Stabfund under the SEC "Astana" check large supermarkets that have committed to stabilise the prices of SIFP under the "revolving mechanism" on a daily basis.
It is worth noting that SEC "Astana" monitors only those shops and supermarkets that have taken a soft loan from the stabilisation fund. The prices in the street and other shops are checked by the City Akimat and the Agency for Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
